He led medium-sized local and CEE teams, he benefits from experience as a crisis and corporate manager.
Emphasis is placed on the connection of knowledge and practice, usability and authenticity of delivered programs and solutions.
Something personal
Sport was always important to Pavel. For twelve years he devoted himself to light athletics, then snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking and his great love, scuba diving and underwater photography. At university, he was active in the AIESEC organization and thanks to it, he also traveled to Canada and New Zealand for work, where he spent two semesters teaching at Otago University in Dunedin. He also fondly remembers traveling the US in the cab of a truck.
Today, he is mostly occupied by his family, he tries to pass on his love for sports and crafts to his two children, as he is a passionate builder and handyman.
1) How would you describe your work in one sentence?
I pass on tips and experiences to offer a different point of view and stimulate curiosity and reflection on current topics.
2) What has influenced you in your life and how is it reflected in your work?
I enjoy getting to know, understanding how things work and then continuously improving the way I do my job. My grandfather taught me Baťovské - "the word doesn't work if we don't know it" and then that if I don't want to do it properly, I shouldn't do it at all.
3) Why do you work for humancraft?
I have friends here.
4) What has been your biggest challenge in humancraft so far?
Processing new topics more tailored to the client with respect for their company culture moves me out of the comfort zone of "control".
5) What effect does your work have on your personal development and professional path?
It teaches me more critical thinking, makes me need to look for more different sources and delay my quick judgments. It is a lifelong journey and a key skill for the 21st century.
6) What do you think are the biggest challenges facing corporate education today and how is humancraft trying to address these challenges?
I feel that the present time calls for a high level of meeting individual needs, both in form and content. humancraft reflects these needs. For the client, we have Catalog courses and individual mentoring / coaching. Long-term talent programs for groups as well as short espresso training sessions for individuals. Hard skills training and gamified programs. Online trainings and face-to-face trainings, when we travel to clients across half of Europe. In short, a human approach and craftsmanship.
